The Fascinating World of Exterior Finishes
Thursday, November 7, 2024

6pm ET • 5pm CT • 4pm MT • 3pm PT

What is there to exterior finishes besides grabbing a can of exterior latex paint and spraying or brushing it on? A lot! This week, two friends of BS*+Beer join us to talk about exterior finishes.

Patrick McCombe has researched and written or contributed to many Fine Homebuilding articles on the exterior finishes, and has first-hand experience as well. He will share what he has learned about making exterior paint last longer and look better than average.

Justin Fink, unknown to us when we invited him, is featured on the cover of the October issue of Fine Homebuilding for an article he wrote on his research and experience with traditional, linseed-oil paints, which have some advantages over more modern types of finishes. He plans to give background context for why linseed oil might be relevant today.

Tune in to ask questions, share your experience or simply enjoy the show!
